Good Evening all,
How’s all the WriMo’s doing? Only nine days left to go. I’m pleased to say that despite slowing down a little I’m still making progress. It’s taken me three tries but I think I’m finally going to be able to ‘win’ at NaNoWriMo.

NaNoWriMo 2013 update 5
I’m making better progress than I thought. Taking everything in to account I have written approximately 43,229 words and am about three quarters of the way through the novel.
Two book reviews
I know I said I wasn’t reviewing any books this month because I’m concentrating on my novel but I got to 43000 words yesterday so I took some time off to finish reading an ARC I’d got from http://www.netgalley.com and another book I’d borrowed from the library. My reviews follow.

I removed the laptop from my knees for a while and wrote just over a thousand words!

I haven’t done any writing today. Instead I started work on a couple of xmas gifts and went to college for four hours. I really need to get something written tonight or I’ll not get finished.
In other news I might have a functioning phone in a couple of weeks which means I’ll be able to post more often.

I’m taking a day off today to be sociable, and because I really needed to get out of the house. I’ll probably start writing again in a while but while I have internet access I thought I’d let you all know how the novel was going.
