The jobcentre interview went well
, and while I was in town I applied for three jobs. I also had a great time with my friends. We had lunch and mooched round the shops.
I’m feeling a lot better, mental health wise, today. My brain has settled down a touch; I don’t feel so miserable and I finally got a decent bit of sleep last night. That may have been the strong painkillers I took in the early hours for the infection that came on yesterday. I had a fever most of the night and am quite drained now; it was lovely to sleep for a couple of hours though, before my alarm went off.
Despite me telling my family not to read yesterday’s post, my sister did. I’m going to the doctors on Thursday. It’s probably about time I did. I’m getting scatty again. I kept having to check where I’d put my wallet and phone while I was n town with my friends and I left my jacket on a bench.
I went back for it.
Since I got back home I’ve got some plot ideas for NaNoWriMo later this year scribbled into the ‘Ready, Set, Novel!’ book I bought a couple of weeks ago. I’ve added a dopey dragon to the cast, with my two inept barbarians and the lady thief. I think I’ve mapped out the plot arc and I’ll probably write it as a series of interconnected short stories.
I’ve rested long enough, time to get things done. I’m going to be sociable this evening. I’m being threatened with an ‘Aliens’ marathon.
Edit: Socialising cancelled, because we both feel like death warmed up.
