My Review
Thanks to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources and the author for supplying an e-book copy of this book as part of the blog tour and in return for an honest review.
This is not going to be the most fulsome review because I am struggling with mental health problems right now, but I’ve done what I can. Enjoy.
Beth’s back. Out walking in Peckham Rye with her friend Katie and Katie’s new puppy, the irrepressible Teddy, she finds a body. Actually, Teddy finds the body, Beth finds Teddy. And a rather elderly, and forlorn, Labrador. And thus starts another adventure for South London’s answer to Miss Marple. She’s also supposed to be working for, and helping her son get into, Wyatt’s School. Her relationship with Harry is moving along nicely, although he isn’t too happy when she finds a body, but who would be?
It took me a bit to get into this book, but by 20% I was gripped. As usual, Alice Castle writes fluently and her characters are rounded. The plot is interesting.
