My Review
Thanks to the publisher for my copy of this book and to Bee for organising this blog tour.
This is a large format, board book with texture patches. Santa’s beard is particularly fluffy. The story is quite simple; Santa needs to get ready for his Christmas trip but can’t find his ‘to do’ list. So he sets about trying to do everything, with the help of his elves, and the reindeer. He almost manages to.
I liked it. I’m quite tactile with books, if not other humans, so I liked finding the different textures in this book. The story was simple and engaging. The illustrations are colourful and bright, with lots of things to find. I think it would be very engaging for a small child learning to read or reading with someone else.
A lovely gift for a young child, especially those who enjoy tactile reading. I’m going to give it to my dad’s step-grandson.
