I couldn’t sleep last night so I went on Amazon.co.uk and found a load of free kindle fantasy and sci fi books. Once I get the tablet to a WiFi connection I’ll download them. I may even read a few.

30 days of Creative Writing: Day 24
I’m back! After feeling particularly awful for a couple of days and pretty much incapable of writing anything creative, I’m feeling almost human again.
Interesting review, I might have to nag the library in to ordering the book for me

Grandfathers of Fantasy
I’d add Poul Anderson to the list as well as all those mentioned in the article and by the commenters. He was as influential to fantasy writers as Tolkien and drew from the same well of memory, mythology and faery & folk tales. I give up
I said earlier I wasn’t going to give up on the two ARCs from Net Galley that I found difficult to read?
I lied.
After spending some time this morning attempting to get in to them I just couldn’t make any progress. I got so bored I procrastinated by adding a Twitter widget to my blog and created a new bookshelf in my Adobe Digital Editions.
The books have been moved to this new ‘unreadable’ bookshelf. For the sake of the authors reputations I wont name them or the books.
Time to read the next book and watch old episodes of Highlander.
Morning, don’t expect coherent writing until I’ve had at least one cup of tea
Hi everyone,
How are you all today?
I’m not feeling so great. I blame it on going to Nottingham at the weekend.
