This book is creepy.

On one of my too frequent trips to Grimsby last month I found a copy of this classic novel in The Works. I’ve heard about The Stepford Wives; hasn’t every body?

I do this all the time, though I have read the majority of my books, there are still a few that I’ve never even opened. I got distracted by the blurb and a pretty cover, and have et to find the time to read the book.
I will eventually.
Today’s bookish pet peeve is about me. I am my own pet peeve.
But let me first clarify. Reading through the Time list has immensely helped me with this problem because the only books I buy right now are books on the Time list.
So I’m very purposeful, rarely experiencing one of those bookstore binges in which I buy 10 books, only to read 2 of them before the next bookstore binge.

Morning, hope you’re having a good weekend?
I am; I’m having a little holiday – spending the weekend at my sister’s while she’s away visiting her in-laws. Someone needs to look after the animals; the rabbit who has his own room, the hamster named Loki who only surfaces for hamster-chocolate, and the new resident hamster – acrobatic Sophie. There’s a children’s picture book in there somewhere, I’m sure.
Some days, for no reason, I get the urge to bake. Today was one of those days. I made spelt and honey buscuits, and chocolate cornflake cakes.
‘Are you really going to eat that?’ Yes, and it’s nobody else’s business http://t.co/SPskrglffY

After my late morning nap and snuggles with the hell hounds, I had a quick trawl through Twitter and came across this Tweet from the Everyday Sexism project. Read the linked article, it’s interesting.
